Axisflying Motor AF236 2306 for Arco/Flow/Bando Freestyle
Description
The AF series engines are Axisflying's highest quality engines with premium performance, the highest standard.
The motors have a lot of power up top, but are still tame enough down low to fly low and fast. When I tested them, I rarely used the top 25 percent of the throttle, but it was nice to know it was there if I wanted to make big hits or needed to get out of a bad situation. Although the motors were quite jerky in my hands when turning slowly, they flew very smoothly. I paired the motors with the new low-pitch Gemfan F3 propellers to keep the motors in the relative power range I'm used to. I normally fly with 1700kV motors and 5143 pitch propellers. In the middle of the spot I was flying, I was trying hard not to crash. The one crash I had was in fine dirt. The motors were originally crunchy after the crash, but once the sand came out the o-ring that protects the bearing did its job. While I can't comment on durability yet, I really liked the way the motors flew and they have a nice design. In the future I will use a throttle when flying them in tight bandos.
